Zé Galía was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1960.
In 1978, he completed his classical guitar studies in the Palestrina Conservatory of Music and began his career in singing, composing and teaching guitar.
He graduated in Economics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in 1981.
He released his first album in 1984 in the Brazilian series “Projeto Pixinguinha”, performing with the group Fundo de Quintal.
Following the success of their soundtracks from TV Globo’s telenovelas, they recorded their first international season, leading them to transfer to Europe.
His publications include CDs, poetry books and textbooks in the fields of music and financial education.
He lives in Rome and, in addition to concerts, offers conferences and workshops in several countries.
